SUPPORT FRIENDS OF SMART The mission of the Friends of SMART is to shape the communities of the future by advocating for and promoting the benefits of the SMART Train and Pathway, transit connectivity, and transit villages in Marin and Sonoma Counties. We accomplish our mission by: Working with various interest groups and government entities to advocate for the policies necessary to create more sustainable communities.     Delivering public education programs which help build the political will required to carry out these policies.  Providing input to the SMART District to help build a better project.
